Precise results
The development of the printed circuit boards works with a slightly alkaline solution. It dissolves the resist film at the points that have not been exposed and exposes the copper surfaces for later etching. The chemical composition and precise dosing of the solution are central to excellent development. Here, the developer modules set standards with their sophisticated nozzle system from TSK. In addition to standard developers, our modern machines use a post-developer stage. She rinses the plates thoroughly again with fresh chemicals. This means that even the smallest residues disappear reliably so that no residues affect the quality of the printed circuit boards.
Controlled cleaning
Developing is followed by a cascaded water rinse, in which the panels go through several cleaning stages with different rinsing solutions. A magnesium sulphate solution prevents unintentional infiltration of the resist layer and stabilizes the edges of the developed resist layers. For external layers developers, razor-sharp edges are essential for the later applied copper layers in a possible pattern plating process. This keeps the contours clear and sharp. Because even the smallest inaccuracies during cleaning can impair the etching result or the subsequent adhesion of the metal layer, it is extremely important to precisely control and monitor the rinsing stages.
Reliable monitoring of chemistry and measurement methods
In order to ensure consistent quality, we offer various measuring methods for the development machines: conductance measurements determine the concentration of the alkaline solution, pH measurements monitor the exact acidity and alkali content. Area and piece counters record the processed panels. These processes ensure optimal chemistry and ensure stable and reliable production. Through continuous analysis, control and control, process parameters can be adjusted in a targeted manner and the quality of the printed circuit boards remains constantly at the highest level.
