Ensure perfect pre-cleaning

With TSK systems, pre-cleaning succeeds perfectly and comprehensively. They reliably remove oxide layers and impurities and prevent cross-contamination via clean step separation. The conductivity remains high, which is optimally activated.

  • Reliably removes impurities and oxide layers
  • Prevents unwanted cross-contamination through precise step separation
  • Ensures optimum adhesion for subsequent coatings in the cleanroom of the photo image
  • Activates the high conductivity and activity of copper

All-round carefree service

To ensure that our machines continue to work perfectly even after many years, we offer our customers a high-performance and experienced service. Whether maintenance, wear, repair or modernization, the TSK service ensures reliable production at all times.
In addition, we also take care of machines for horizontal wet chemical processes that do not come from our company. Feel free to ask us!

    Forming the perfect basis

The base material of a printed circuit board consists of two layers of copper with a defined layer thickness of copper on both sides. An epoxy resin is used as a carrier material and insulator between the two copper layers for rigid PCBs. For flexible printed circuit boards, films made of polyamide or Teflon are used.
These materials offer optimal mechanical and thermal properties. As a result, they meet the requirements for flexibility and stability in various areas of application, such as in the automotive industry or for highly complex electronic components.

    Prevent oxidation

In atmospheric environments, copper tends to oxidize. This impairs conductivity and makes further processing more difficult. Processing greases, fingerprints and other release agents also disrupt the process. These impurities must be chemically removed in order to expose and keep the copper highly active. This is the only way to ensure that the subsequent coating adheres reliably over the entire surface of the yellow light room. To prevent chemicals from creeping in later, the foil coating must not peel off because it forms the film in order to be able to precisely expose the subsequent image of the printed circuit board.

    Keeping copper active

Starting with a degreaser stage, we precisely separate all process stages from each other by means of water cascades. This separation is crucial to prevent unwanted cross-contamination of the chemicals. Degreasing is followed by the micro etching, to clean the oxide coverage. Here, the oxide layer of the copper is thoroughly and completely removed. Deionized water then rinses the material clean and prepares it for the next process step. The plates are then dried streak-free to prevent re-oxidation. The dried plates run directly into the clean room via a sluice, where the degree of purity of the atmosphere is constantly checked. In this way, the copper remains permanently active.

    Measure quality reliably

In addition to chemical pre-cleaning, we offer all common measuring methods to keep the chemistry at its optimum efficiency. The available measurement methods include:

    • Conductivity measurements
    • Density measurements
    • Turbidity measurements
    • pH measurements

In addition, we can use area and piece counters to monitor the process in real time. In this way, we guarantee maximum process stability and reproducible results. These extensive measures ensure the quality of the coatings and ensure that the copper layer adheres optimally later on. With our precise cleaning technology, we create the ideal basis for the production of modern, high-performance printed circuit boards.

    Continuously refining technologies

For TSK, the state of the art is always only the basis and starting point for making further technological advances and refining technologies. In doing so, we always keep in mind that our systems are easy to maintain and robust in order to reliably maintain production. Resource conservation and environmental friendliness, wastewater-saving circuits, emissions into the air and noise emissions are just as important to us as the production quality for which the machines were designed. We support our customers in obtaining operator approvals for the processes on site.
