Reliable silver-coating

TSK offers specialized systems to protect sensitive copper surfaces from oxidation after wet chemical production by means of silver coating. The thin silver layer protects the substrates from damage. To this end, TSK Engineering has developed an innovative tending transport system: It reduces contact to a minimum and does not impair the coating. 

Especially in the automotive sector and in thick copper applications from wet chemical production, substrates require this sensitive further processing.  Through our surface treatment technologies, we improve conductivity and protect PCBs from corrosion and other environmental factors.

Flawless coating

Sensitive copper surfaces require special care. Therefore, we have developed a special transport mechanism that greatly reduces contact with the substrate surface. This prevents streaks and shadowing on the silver layer and ensures a flawless coating. 
The process begins with cleaning and activating the copper surfaces. A rinsing stage then removes the cleaner and decontaminates the substrates. Now the coating with silver takes place to apply the layer evenly on both sides. Finally, the substrates are gradually rinsed and dried.

The high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) of the machines ensures stable and efficient mass production. In doing so, we always keep in mind that our systems are easy to maintain and robust in order to reliably maintain production. Resource conservation and environmental friendliness, wastewater-saving circuits, emissions into the air and noise emissions are just as important to us as the production quality for which the machines were designed. We support our customers in obtaining operator approvals for the processes on site.
