Etching evenly
With the special Vacuum Etch technology from TSK, printed circuit boards in the order larger than >410mm x 410mm can be processed, whereby the system can also be adapted to smaller working widths.
Vacuum etching solves the fundamental problem that the etching medium removes material differently at the top and bottom. Ideally, however, the etching process starts and ends at the top and bottom at the same time.
- Reduction of the puddling effect
- Equally fast etching of tops and bottoms
- Homogeneous flooding technology
- Optimal preparation for galvanic copper build-up
All-round carefree service
To ensure that our machines continue to work perfectly even after many years, we offer our customers a high-performance and experienced service. Whether maintenance, wear, repair or modernization, the TSK service ensures reliable production at all times.
In addition, we also take care of machines for horizontal wet chemical processes that do not come from our company. Feel free to ask us!

Reduce puddle effect
Physically, this is only possible in the standard process by reducing the etching speed on the bottom side. At the top, the so-called puddling effect reduces it. This is because a liquid like the etching medium lingers on the top like a puddle before it can drain over the edges of the PCB. As a result, fresh solution on the top cannot be replaced so quickly. In order to reduce or even prevent this puddling effect, TSK adapts a continuous extraction system for the applied etching medium in the process. This reduces the amount of etching medium remaining on the surface and fresh solution reaches the copper more quickly. The replacement process is accelerated and the etching process no longer needs to be throttled at the bottom. Overall, this increases the etching speed on both sides and thus the entire etching process.
The process is adapted in the field for CuCl2, alkaline etching solution and FeCl3.
Continuously refining technologies
For TSK, the state of the art is always only the basis and starting point for making further technological advances and refining technologies. In doing so, we always keep in mind that our systems are easy to maintain and robust in order to reliably maintain production. Resource conservation and environmental friendliness, wastewater-saving circuits, emissions into the air and noise emissions are just as important to us as the production quality for which the machines were designed. We support our customers in obtaining operator approvals for the processes on site.
